Roman Stefanyshyn, the head of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, said that all law enforcement officers, who were involved in an accident in Beregovo district, had been discharged from service. This was reported by the Communication Department of the Transcarpathian Regional Police.
Today, April 10, Roman STEFANYSHYN commented on the accident involving a police car Skoda Octavia and three police officers.
"A criminal proceeding over the accident invloving a police car in Beregovo district has been opened under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and the official investigation, which is under my personal control, has begun. All the police officers, who were in the car at the moment of the accident, have been discharged from service. The guilty parties will be punished. We will inform the public and the media about the results of the investigation," – Roman Stefanyshyn said.
The Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region is investigating this case.
Recall that on April 9, at about 15.30, in the village of Hat in Beregovo district, there was an accident involving a police car Skoda Octavia.
