The 950th birthday is a serious event

Beregovo will celebrate its 950th anniversary on 27th and 28th of September. According to Beregovo local newspaper, the program will include a lot of events:

9.00-10.00 – festive running competition for 950 meters;
9.00-17.00 – detailed thematic book exhibition "Our city turns 950" and children’s drawing competition "My City"; 
12.00-16.00 – sporting events (stadium "Druzhba");
12.00-13.50 – grand opening of the celebration on Kossuth Sq.;
14.00-16.00 – concert of amateur groups and individual performers, Kossuth Sq.; 
15.00-17.00 – international veterans football match: 
the city of Sekeludvarhel (Romania) – the city of Beregovo (Ukraine);
16.00-18.00 – holiday program for children in the park "Oasis";
20.00-01.00 – Gala concert of stars of Ukrainian and Hungarian stage in the amphitheater (Beregsasom "Dixieland Band", "Energy", Thomas Demes, Mykola Povod, Lilya Vavrin of Ukraine, Monica Sirmai and Irid Honalymirid of Hungary);
01.00 – Festive firework;
01.10 – Parade of DJs.

Also the hosts promise a variety of attractions for children, sports and art competitions, quizzes and entertainment.
