On January 15, at 12.00, in the hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, there will be the grand assembly to mark the 20th anniversary of the founding of the regional awards in literature and arts. Leaders of the region, representatives of creative elite of Transcarpathia, past and this year’s winners of the award are invited to participate in the celebration.
After the greeting, there will be a concert with the participation of leading artists of the region – winners of the D.Zador prize (music and performing arts). In addition, in the lobby of the theater (second floor), there will be the presentation of works by F.Potushnyak prize winner (literature) and exhibits of Sherehiy brothers prize winners (theater).
The events in the theater will preceded exhibition of Y.Bokshay and A.Erdelyi prize winners (fine and decorative arts), which will open at 11.00 in the "Uzhgorod" gallery. The exhibition will be open till the end of this month.
All four awards, that bear the names of prominent figures of literature and art of Transcarpathia, were founded in 1995 by the Regional State Administration and the Regional Council to support the development of professional art in the region.
Overall, over 20 years, 237 were representatives of culture in Transcarpathia have become the proze winners.
