Thanks to the prosecutor’s office Transcarpathians were paid almost a million hryvnia salary arrears

 Since the beginning of the year due to the adoption of representational activities by prosecutors, the courts issued a series of orders and decided to recover almost one million hryvnia wage arrears to the advantage of the citizens.
 Other 233 cases with a demand to pay people the debts in the amount of over 1 million 240 thousand are now in the courts proceedings, the press office of the prosecutor’s office in Transcarpathian region reports.
For example, due to the statements of the prosecutor of Uzhgorod writs were issued for the recovery almost 408 thousand UAH of wage arrears from a local company ‘Mechanization of construction management’

In the proceedings of Khust district court there are 12 pending applications of Khust inter-district public prosecutor concerning the recovery of accrued but never paid salaries which makes more than 63 thousand UAH.
According to the Head of the interests representation of citizens and the state department in the courts of the region, Oksana Shliakhta, using the powers of representation, prosecutors defend the right to timely payment for work of people in enterprises that are bankrupts. Thus, according to the district prosecutor for employees of state enterprises that are in the state of bankruptcy in Vynohradov district, the court made ​​a decision on recovery of unpaid wages of more than 265 thousand UAH.
