Thanks to Hungarian grants, the number of private enterprises in Transcarpathia has tripled

This was reported by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal.

Since the beginning of this year, 371 new individual entrepreneurs and 25 legal entities have been registered in Beregovo district. 160 of them were registered in July and August.

– The vast majority of new entrepreneurs in Beregovo district have appeared thanks to the "Egan Ede" Center for the Economic Development of Transcarpathia", which gives local residents grants funded by the Hungarian Government’s program to promote the economic development of foreign Hungarians throughout Europe, – Hennadiy Moskal said. – In Transcarpathia, "Egan Ede" Center" works not only in Beregovo, but also in other districts – Vynogradiv, Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Khust, and Tyachiv. A total of three thousand people have submitted applications for grants from the Center. About 1,000 people have already received funds under the farming program, about 1,500 – under the program of small business development, and about 500 applications are under consideration.

The newly created private enterprises are new jobs and payments to budgets of different levels, new agricultural machinery and tourist objects, that will be working for the benefit of Transcarpathia. I wish every region of Ukraine (especially where there is shortage of jobs) had such opportunities for microcrediting and receiving grants as Transcarpathia.
