Terrible accident in Transcarpathia. A minor girl was taken by an ambulance (PHOTOS)

Yesterday, March 11, at about 5:25 pm, the police received a report of a traffic accident on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Serednye. 
According to the Communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police, Uzhgorod district police officers are extablishing the cause of a road accident that happened on the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Serednye. As a result of the accident, a 17-year-old passenger of a VAZ 2108 was hospitalized. The police opened criminal proceedings over the violation of traffic rules.
“At the scene of the incident, officers of the investigation team established the preliminary circumstances of the incident. A 19-year-old driver of a VAZ 2108, a resident of Mukachevo, was driving towards the regional center, lost control and drove off the road. As a result of the car accident, a 17-year-old girl, a passenger of the car, was injured. The girl with injuries of varying severity was taken to the regional children’s hospital,” – the statement reads.
The driver of the vehicle was tested. He was driving sober.
Criminal proceedings were opened over the accident under Article 286 (1) of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic rules with victims). During the pre-trial investigation, the police will find out all the circumstances and cause of the car accident. The car was taken to the impound lot of the police station.
