Uzhgorod authorities plan to dismantle all temporary trade objects.The reason is lack of necessary permits and failure to pay taxes to the city budget.
This was discussed today, March 25, during a meeting of the executive committee of Uzhgorod city council.
According to the report, in 2014, 69 permits to set up temporary trade objects were issued in Uzhgorod, only 18 of them have come to the City Hall to conclude contracts. "18 objects will not give significant funds to the budget. All the rest do not have permits for trade", – the speakers said.
However, temporary trade will be permitted during festivals, fairs and other local events.
The draft decision was approved by a majority of the members of the executive committee.
