Teatralna Square is to have fountains

Today, April 5, fountains in Uzhgorod that were opened last year started to work: the fountain in the city rockery and the fountain at Goyda Street near the Economic Department of Uzhgorod National University.
As the Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Pogorelov during the meeting with journalists reported, the third working city fountain will start already next week – in the square between Dovshenko and Rakoci Street. Soon there is also supposed to appear a playground, which an unknown patron wants to put on his expenses.
This year the restoration of the fountain in front of the City Council (now there are flower beds) is included into the plans of the city authorities, as well as to launch two small fountains on both sides of the stage at Teatralna Square.
