As of August 2013, 560 cases between the State Tax Inspectorate of Uzhgorod and taxpayers totaling more than 275 million hryvnias are pending in courts of different instances.
Thanks to the coordinated work of the legal department of the STI in Uzhgorod, this year courts have made 158 judgments in favor of the tax inspectorate on the total amount of 40 million hryvnias in 216 considered cases.
In 58 cases, considered in 2013, decisions were made in favor of taxpayers, in total, entities managed to defend in court nearly 30 million hryvnias.
Currently, an important activity of the tax inspectorate is legal provision of tax administration, broadening the range of legal department specialists’ activity and participation of lawyers in all areas of administration of taxes and fees to the budget of Ukraine.
