Yesterday, July 28, officers of the operational department of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region conducted seven searches in the city of Uzhgorod and Uzhgorod district, at the locations where the goods, illegally imported to Ukraine, were kept. The operational-investigative actions were carried out under the investigation of the criminal proceedings registered in the URPI over tax evasion in large amounts on the basis of decisions of Uzhgorod city and district court.
As a result of the investigation measures, they found and seized: household appliances – 476 blenders "BRAUN" made in Poland; 316 kg of coffee beans "BRAVOS" made in Czech Republic; 12 pairs of women’s shoes made in China; financial documents in Hungarian; rough notes.
Overall, the cost of the confiscated goods, that had been illegally imported to Ukraine, amounted to about 800,000 UAH. Those goods are at the Financial Investigation Department of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region.
