Tax officers promise not to bother business with checks

67.4 thousand taxpayers – businesses and individuals – are registered in the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region.

 – During the first quarter, experts of the office have conducted 21 routine documentary checks of entrepreneurs-individuals. The same number of entrepreneurs is planned to be checked in the second quarter of this year – the Deputy Head of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region Mykola Butenko reported.

– If an entity has 1-2 million hryvnias of revenue and 1-2 million hryvnias of expenditures, and paid nothing to the budget, then we check this category of taxpayers – Mykola Butenko said. According to him, now they are studying the proposals from the public on how to collect taxes.

– These funds come from people who made themselves, Mykola Butenko said – it’s their own business, they do not ask for donations – they pay taxes.

 By the way: Last year the budget received almost 115 million hryvnias of the single tax, while the overall taxation system brought to the budget 20 million hryvnias.
