The cost of housing and communal services in Ukraine will not rise, and the price reduction is possible, the UNIAN wrote.
Until the election, utility tariffs will not increase
According to the correspondent, this was reported by the head of the State Price Control Inspection of Ukraine (State Price Inspection) Oleksandr Kiselyov at a press conference in Kiev. "No, this is not expected (higher tariffs – UNIAN)… Quite the contrary. Today, in the country, the process of converting all of this price segment on housing has started. Today, at each regional state administration there is a special commission with working groups dealing solely with utility tariffs" – Kiselyov said. He also said that the State Price Inspection would try to reduce tariffs for housing and communal services. "We hope that we will normalize the rates and reduce them. That is, in general, statistically we expect such result that will ease the burden on every citizen and every resident of the city (whether it is the regional center, the city of Kyiv, or town, or village)," – Kiselyov said.
