Tariffs for water in Transcarpathians “soared” (TABLE)

On the first of July, Transcarpathian region residents received an unpleasant surprise from public 
utilities – new tariffs for water supply and sewage. 

The most expensive water will be for Uzhgorod residents – on cubic meter of water for them will cost 
11.84 UAH. In Svalyava it will be slightly cheaper – 10, 24 UAH. In Vynogradiv, they will pay for water 
9.9 UAH. In Volovets, water supply and sewage will cost 9.86 UAH per cubic meter, in Velyky Berezny 
– 9.71 UAH, in Rakhiv – 9.4 UAH, in Khust – 9.19 UAH and in Beregovo – 9.18 UAH. 

In the second largest city in the region – Mukachevo, the tariff is 7.43 UAH. The cheapest water is in 
Chop – only 5.22 UAH per cubic meter.
