The city target program of free primary legal aid to residents of the city of Mukachevo has been adopted.
Yesterday, December 17, 2014, at the extraordinary session of Mukachevo City Council, the decision to approve the City target program to provide free legal aid to residents of Mukachevo in 2015-2017 was adopted.
Mukachevo became the first city in Transcarpathia, where local authorities have made a commitment to establish a system of primary legal aid in their community.
For residents of Mukachevo, it means that they can receive free professional and highly qualified primary legal aid for the next three years.
Engaging representatives of the local professional lawyer community on Pro Bono basis will enable to also give residents of Mukachevo secondary legal aid and support in the courts of strategic affairs.
The city program will become effective in February 2015, currently all residents of Mukachevo can receive legal aid at the Mukachevo Human Rights Center, which is located at Myr Square 17/12. Representatives of the Roma minority can seek help directly at the office in the Roma camp – Poshtova st., 18.
