The unique rhythm of the strokes – this is how art critics characterize the paintings and graphics of the Honored Artist of Ukraine Taras Usik. On November 2, the anniversary exhibition of the artist’s works was solemnly opened in the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life in Uzhgorod.
In two exhibition halls, the artist presented about 50 canvases, which have been painted mainly during the past year. The architecture of Uzhgorod, images of a woman and nature dominate in the canvases.
During the official part, the chairman of the Transcarpathian branch of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Borys Kuzma, handed the artist a letter of honor on behalf of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal. Many colleagues, friends, journalists came to congratulate the artist.
