On Thursday, June 25, for the first time in 7 years, a meeting of the joint Ukrainian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will take place in Kyiv. In particular, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto is expected to arrive.
According to the Foreign Ministry’s press service, "the parties will discuss the development of trade and investment between Ukraine and Hungary, consider a number of joint economic and transport projects, improvement of border and cross-border infrastructure, cooperation in agriculture, energy and environment protection."
However, everyone is also interested in political issues. Meanwhile, whether Hungary plans to stop blocking rapprochement of Ukraine and NATO. The main demand of the Hungarian party is still changes in the Ukrainian legislation on education and language.
Following the meeting, a joint briefing of Dmytro Kuleba and Peter Szijjarto is planned.
