On December 10, following the variety and brass orchestra, another landmark collective of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic – the Symphony Orchestra – celebrated its 10th anniversary.
Representatives of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and Regional Council, the Department of Culture and the trade union of workers of culture of Transcarpathia awarded the orchestra and its conductor Victoria Tsanko with certificates and gratitudes. Also, in their speeches, the guests mentioned that during its short age, the orchestra had gained recognition through skillful performance of the best classic music and successful implementation of creative ideas together with leading collectivess of our region and beyond.
And this time, the orchestra presented a festive program with the participation of soloists of the Philharmonic and the academic chamber choir "Cantus". The concert featured works of G.Handel, L.van Beethoven, G.Verdi, M.Mussorgsky and other composers of world renown, whose masterpieces are included in the golden repertoire symphony orchestra.
