Symbolically: Transcarpathian owners of cars with foreign registration came to the session of the Regional Council wearing yellow vests (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Today, a regular plenary session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council is taking place in Uzhgorod.

In order to protest against the laws regulating the customs clearance of cars with foreign registration, Transcarpathian car owners came to the Regional Council meeting wearing symbolic yellow vests.

The protesters announced their intention to speak to the regional deputies. The security in the building of the Regional State Administration was tightened.

Recall that over the past few weeks, mass protests of the so-called "yellow vests" have been going on in France. The protesters wear light-reflective vests, which symbolize the struggle against the fuel price increase announced by the country’s leadership.
