Fedir Shandor wtote on his Facebook page about a new masterpiece from the confectionary Valentin Shtefanyo:
"The most important event of the year in Transcarpathia (and Europe) is the 150th anniversary of the fall of the largest meteorite in the European continent – the Knyahynya meteorite – on 09.06.1866.
The initiative group of the Institute of Carpathian Tourism (Fedir Shandor, Oleksandr Koval) together with the community of the village of Sil and Velyky Berezny administration made, installed and opened a parking for cyclists, bench for hikers and information sign "Tourist route "Meteorites of Transcarpathia."
The second event (presented today, 19.07.2016) dedicated to the anniversary of the meteorite fall is the creation of the gastronomic masterpiece from Valentin Shtefanyo called sweets "Knyahynya Meteorite."
The sweets are made of nuts (pistachios, peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts), Carpathian honey, crushed cookies, chocolate
