Sweets from abroad: Transcarpathian customs officers seized 2600 packages of chocolate from a Ukrainian

The SFS of Transcarpathia reported about confiscation of 2600 packages of chocolate and tea from a citizen of Ukraine. 

A bus IVECO arrived at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" from Slovakia. The driver was going through the red corridor, but said that he did not have any goods subject to mandatory declaration. 

However, in the luggage compartment of the bus, customs officers found large bags with boxes containing chocolate and candy of well-known brands. In addition, there were 40 packages of leaf tea there. 

Customs officers informed the driver that he had broken the customs rules and confiscated the goods pending court decision.
