Svalyava police found a minor, who had stolen 13 thousand hryvnia from a shopping center

Svalyava Police Station received a report about a theft of money from the shopping center. As the law-enforcement officers found out, an unknown person had stolen from a drawer of the storefront in a shopping center a wallet with 10,200 hryvnias and 100 U.S. dollars.

The policemen identified the thief. It was a 15-year-old resident of the district center previously convicted for property crimes. The boy did not have time to spend the money, because he was spotted by the owner, and returned the stolen wallet.

The investigator of the Svalyava Police Department opened a criminal investigation over the attempted theft on the grounds of Part 2 of Article 15, Part 2 of Article 188 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (attempted theft). The pre-trial investigation in the case continues.
