The Rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire on Svyda street in Svalyava. A minibus "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter", which carries out passenger transportation on the route "Svalyava – Iza", was burning. The fire in the vehicle, that was parked near a private house, was noticed by the driver’s wife.
Firefighters of the 9th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Svalyava – 1 vehicle and 4 staff members – arrived at the scene. Within minutes, firefighters eliminated the fire. The fire had destroyed interior and damaged the paint coating of the vehicle.
The cause of the fire will be established by law enforcement authorities.
