On Monday, September 22, students of Uzhgorod Trade and Economic College will hold each other’s hands and thus unite buildings of their educational institution. Since one of them is on Kapitulna street and another one is on Pravoslavna embankment, the human chain will pass through the pedestrian bridge. On the bridge, they plan to unfurl a large Ukrainian flag.
"Uniting of our eastern and western buildings is symbolic. It’s sort of a desire to unite Ukraine. Also our students, suggested to bring boxes and raise funds for participants of the ATO, so the event will also have charitable purpose" – the teacher of hotel and tourism courses Oksana Nepyivoda said.
The event will take place during the long break that starts at 11:25.
