Today, the day of St. Nicholas, the Regional Council Chairman Volodymyr Chubirko visited Perechyn district, as expected, with gifts for schoolchildren. Educational institutions were granted certificates for 10 new school sets. The sets were prorated to the number of students.
Volodymyr Chubirko stated that the region pays great attention to education. At the expense of the regional budget, in Perechyn gymnasium the roof was replaced, windows in the local school are being replaced for energy saving ones.
In total, 350 sets for first graders have been purchased for the region at the expense of the regional budget. One set consists of 15 desks and 30 chairs. School desks and chairs can be adjusted according to height of a student. Over 3 million hryvnias from the regional budget was allocated for the project.
Also, during the meeting with educators, they discussed the feasibility of energy efficiency projects in the district. They determined institutions where it is possible to replace boilers with ones with higher efficiency, and where there is a need to install metal and plastic windows and doors.
The head of Perechyn district Ivan Biben, the Mayor Miroslav Huranych, and the Deputy District Council Chairman Yuriy Dzyamulych participated in the event.
