According to Ukrainian Hydrometeorology Center, on December 28, in Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi regions, gusts of wind of 15-20 m / s, in the Carpathians – up to 25 m / s, are expected.
The State Emergencies Service of Ukraine urges citizens to observe basic safety rules while being on the street. Avoid walking under spreading trees, and stay away from billboards and power lines, since wind gusts may cause damage.
