Streets in Uzhgorod will not be renamed

By the said draft decision, the deputies were proposed to approve the renaming of a number of streets in the regional capital, namely:

– Ankudinov street to Georgiy Gongadze street;

– S. Lazo street to Nahum Repkin street;

– Kotovsky street to Yosyp Shtelykha street;

– Paris Commune street to Heroes of Chernobyl street;

– Blagoev street to Vyhorlatska street.

– Nezalezhnist embankment to Roshkovich embankment.

However, there was not enough parliamentary votes to approve the decision to rename the streets at the current session of Uzhgorod city council.
