For several days now, Uzhgorod residents have been taking pictures with a living steppe eagle on Teatralna Square.
It was brought here from central Ukraine. Two guys offer passers-by to pet or hold it. But if you want to take a picture, you’ll have to pay 50 UAH.
The owners of the bird told our correspondent that it is a steppe eagle, her name is Diana. Despite the formidable appearance, the bird is peaceful, "has never hurt anyone."
Animal right activists, of course, may have certain questions, since it is not known what conditions the wild bird is kept in. However, there are many people willing to have a picture with the big predator, because Diana looks really majestic, and such opportunity is quite exotic for Uzhgorod.
