State will help hypertensive with the medicines purchase (+ VIDEO)

The Ministry of Health undertook the implementation of a pilot project with a partial reimbursement of expenses for medicines to hypertensive. This practice works in many European countries.

‘As a result, the cost of medicines for the population may be reduced from 20 to 50 percent’ – said Deputy Head of Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Health Care Department Hanna Romanko.

The order of Health Care Department in the Transcarpathian region defines the list of medications, namely seven items, on which referent prices are set. In other words the amount that the state will compensate to chemist’s network for privileged recipes that patient will receive from their doctor. Reimbursement will not be held in full but will fluctuate in the amount of 2 to 52 hryvnia and on the regular basis. The responsibility for written recipes will carry doctors. Only those prescriptions will be considered as real which will be written on the form F-1, that as for July 1, 2012 is in all health care establishments.
