St. Nicholases will be running in Uzhgorod for charity (ANNOUNCEMENT)

Representatives of the U-Run community (Uzhhorod Running Club) invite everyone to become a St. Nicholas and take part in the charity race "Run to help!".   

This year the campaign will be held for the second time. The last time, 64 people took part in the race, including the Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv. Then, they raised 9000 UAH, which was transferred to representatives of the public organization "Happy Children". The activists used this money to organize a New Year party for 34 children from low-income families with pizza, sweets, gifts and food. 

This year, the campaign "Run to help!" will be held on Sunday, December 17th. Registration starts at 11:00 on Teatralna square, the races start at 12.00. 

According to the organizers, the participants will have the opportunity to choose one of two distances: 

– "I am an athlete" race: 6 km (3 laps) for people over 14 years old. Registration fee is 80 UAH;

– "I am a benefactor" race: 2 km (1 lap). Registration fee is 50 UAH.
