St. Martin’s Day in Mukachevo will be celebrated withe a knight tournament and a lantern procession

On Saturday, November 11, Mukachevo will celebrate the day of its patron saint – the city festival "St. Martin’s Day in Mukachevo" will take place.

12.00 – 12.30 – Ceremony of the beginning of the holiday near the Cathedral of St. Martin.

13:30 – 17:30 – Knight tournament, children’s soft sword fights, dance master classes, medieval locations.

17:30 – Formation of a festive procession with knights, ladies, children with lanterns (near the central library).

18.00 – Festive procession to the Town Hall.

18.30 – Congratulation by Mukachevo mayor Andriy Baloha, carillon music performed by Oleksandra Makarova, fire show from The Fire Life Theater.

20.00 – Concert featuring the winner of the National Television Competition "The Voice 2017" Archpriest Oleksandr Klymenko and super-finalist of "The Voice. Kids" Ivanna Reshko. The program will feature: vocal ensemble "BREVIS", Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Sadvariy, soloist of the Transcarpathian folk choir, singer-composer Yana Sadvariy and creative youth of the region (Mukachevo Drama Theater).

Mukachevo city council
