March
Although the magnificent tourist magnet – early flowers, in particular, crocuses – had appeared back in February, yet it is March that is their month. Transcarpathia blossoms and welcomes spring!
Meanwhile, a disaster happened in another flower place. Negligent or just ignorant people set fire to… the Narcissus Valley. The reserve will later recover, but the flowering will not be too abundant. At the moment, it just hurts to look at it…
Transcarpathia hosts the cycling championship of Ukraine and, frankly, we consider our land an ideal place for such competitions.
Spring is a holiday of life. Nature amazes with its forms. Chameleon enjoys warmth in the terrarium at an exotic animal exhibition in Uzhgorod.
An awkward Uzhgorod City Council session was held. Having failed to achieve the desired decision in a confusing property case, the Orthodox parishioners of the Moscow Patriarchate started praying right in the session hall. Other people were forced to just leave the room.
People make like or not, but in honor of the turbulent Ukrainian history, young radicals are on the streets of Uzhgorod. March of Heroes At the very least, it is spectacular.

Meanwhile, the agricultural season is in full swing. The hard-working Zarichchia is working to supply the earliest cabbage to Ukrainian markets.
Legendary Iza is preparing for Easter. The range of baskets is wide, enough for everyone!
The Day of Roma was celebrated in Uzhgorod for the first time.
On the third of April our site recorded the flowering of the first sakuras. And on the 14th of April, the sakura bike ride took place. The pink madness continues. Sakura is our own Uzhgorod miracle, pride, joy and magnet for tourists.

Easter celebrations. The Transcarpathian folk choir presented in Uzhgorod castle an original program with authentic songs, dances and entertainment.

Narcissus Valley. It is beautiful. Though not luxurious. But beautiful.
In Uzhgorod, the best Ukrainian athletes jump to music accompaniment. When sport inspires.
Night of museums. The Uzhgorod castle, or more precisely the Transcarpathian Regional Local Lore Museum, invited to a magical evening, where history and art were combined. The new format for Uzhgorod became, probably, the art event of the year.
The case is over! The high-profile Mukachevo case receives a verdict: the defendants are free, because they have served their sentence. But will other perpetrators be punished?..
Uzhgorod was lit up! Fire Life Fest – a festival of show programs with an emphasis on fire art – became an event that is hard to miss and not to mention. More than bright!
A poppy field near Uzhgorod blossoms and becomes the main photo zone of the season. A few days later the field was mown. Beauty is transient…
