Sources of revenues to local budgets of Transcarpathia are increasing

Pursuant to the amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine, as of January 1 this year, state fee for the issuance and registration of passports (certificates) shall be credited to local budgets. Crediting of the said tax was implemented in the framework of fiscal decentralization and introduction of a new model of financial security of local budgets. In accordance with Articles 64 and 69 of the Budget Code of Ukraine, the said tax is a source of revenues to general fund of city, town and village budgets. In previous budget periods, this state fee was credited to the state budget.

 As of July 1 this year, local budgets have received the state fee for the issuance and registration of passports (certificates) in the amount of UAH 7.2 million. The largest amounts of this kind of revenue were received in the cities of regional importance Uzhgorod (UAH 2.0 million), Mukachevo (UAH 0.8 million), Khust (UAH 0.7 million) and in Vynogradiv district (UAH 0.7 million).
