The corpse of some animal (presumably a dog) "decorates" the green zone of the Narodna Square – the one where scenic bushes grow. Judging from its state, the dead animal has been lying there for several weeks.
Meanwhile the reconstruction on Narodna square, which, according to the authorities, "is very much needed to bring the square to order," continues. Maybe they should begin the "beautification" of the square, which the government is so "concerned" about, with the ordinary garbage removal?.. The question is perhaps somewhat rhetorical.And, obviously, spending over three million hryvnias (that is how much the pavement of the square will cost us) is much more interesting business than maintenance of the square.
It should be noted, however, that maybe it is not bad, that "improvers" of the square have not gotten around this piece of it – otherwise Narodna square could have lost this beautiful green area too. But the animal, though, should to be removed, no matter how symbolic it may be…
