Some of the Afghans, who were detained in Transcarpathia, tried to get to the EU for the third time

As previously reported, a group of illegal migrants of 13 people, including eight children, were detained yesterday in Transcarpathia by employees of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.    They were stopped a few dozen meters from the Ukrainian-Hungarian border when they almost reached the barrier fence. The illegal migrants had no IDs, however, they identified themselves as citizens of Afghanistan. Three of the eight children were still very young, one child was not even one year old.

The Afghans were taken to the border guard unit where they were given a hot tea and provided the first necessary assistance.

During the establishment of all the circumstances of the trip, it was found out that some of the Afghans, namely a family of 7 had been detained by border guards on the approaches to the borders of the EU for the third time this year. The last time they had been detained in early November. After a while they were again contacted by the organizers of the illegal trafficking across the border and offered another "trip" to Europe.

On the approaches to the border, the organizers showed them the direction, and then disappeared. After a while, the Afghans were detained by border guards.

It should be noted that in anticipation of cold weather, organizers of illegal migrants trafficking try to get rid of them as soon as possible. During trips they often abandon travelers in unknown terrain. They also ignore the fact that these "trips" in the mountains can lead to the death of migrants, especially young children.
