From now on, Mukachevo residents can buy medicines at prices lower than in commercial establishments. The first pharmacy of the municipal institution network "Social Pharmacy" has begun to work. Today, it was officially opened at the outpatient department on Hrushevsky street.
Disabled and war veterans, labor veterans, pensioners, people affected by the Chernobyl accident also can receive medicines under preferential recipes there.
Pharmacists say that currently in the "Social Pharmacy" there are more than 12,000 drugs, but they plan to provide nearly 15,000 drugs.
The maximum margin on all of them is 10% to provide salaries for the staff and pay for utilities.
According to the mayor of Mukachevo Andriy Baloha, after the "card of Mukachevo resident" is introduced in May, townspeople will have another 3% discount on medicines.
