he Parliament instructed the Government to analyze the development of the financial and economic situation in Ukraine and to consider indexing the minimum social benefits on July 1, 2015.
This was announced by the Minister of Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko, the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy informed.
"Social standards have not been increased over the past year. Today, unfortunately, the economic situation is not improving. We hope that the measures proposed by the government, will enable small economic growth starting from the end of 2015. Then there will be prerequisites and additional resources to increase social standards," – he said.
"Even the increase on December 1, 2015 is an ambitious plan. And it is not a statement, but the State Budget Law. The increase in minimum pension, minimum wage and subsistance minimum will be 13%," – the Minister said on the "Public television" on January 13, 2015.
"We will do everything to make Ukrainian economy work and to have opportunity to consider indexing minimum wage and pensions in Ukraine. To do this, all of us – the president, government, parliament – over the next six months have to implement real reforms that will give real results", – the minister said.
