Smugglers have switched to planes

Recently, due to the significant intensification of the activity of border guard units in combating smuggling activities, violators have begun to use new methods of smuggling of counterfeit goods, including using small aircraftd – gliders, drones and even small planes.

 Chop border guards often detect small aircrafts flying over the border, but they do not always manage to detain them, because they land 40, and even 120 kilometers away from the state border.

Thus, at night, border guards once again detected an unknown aircraft illegally crossing the state border at an altitude of 2 km, but they could not find out the place of its landing.  

Please note that flights within the controlled border areas are allowed only after consultation with the state border guard authority, notification of the relevant departments of the State Border Guard Service and with the permission of the relevant departments of the Aviation Service of Ukraine on aircrafts registered in the manner specified by law.
