Smolanka was elected by the open majority

Volodymyr Smolanka headed the Transcarpathian United Center.

This decision was made ​​by open voting at the conference of the Transcarpathian regional party organization, which was held today, March 7, in Uzhgorod, the Mukachevo.net informed. The renowned neurosurgeon succeeded on this post Ivan Baloha who became a deputy at the most recent parliamentary election.

In addition to electing a new chairman of the cell, they formed a new board of the Transcarpathian party organization, and elected its presidium. In addition to Volodymyr Smolanka, it includes Rostislav Fediv, Volodymyr Shkriba, Denis Sobol, Andriy Baloha and Ingrid Turís.

Also at the conference the delegates reviewed the work of the party organization in previous years, discussed the difficult situation in the country, the need for reform and the need for unity in the team before the local elections.

Regarding the development of the cell, the Head of the Secretariat of the Transcarpathian United Center party organization Volodymyr Shkriba reported on conferences of local cells and the replacement of their management, which is a requirement of the time.
