For more than twenty years, the cultural and educational organization "Matica Slovenska", which brings together ethnic Slovaks, has been organizing the annual festival "Slovenska veselica".
The event, which is dedicated exclusively to Slovak folk art, takes place every year in a new place, and this weekend it was held in Uzhgorod. About twenty collectives from different parts of Transcarpathia and from Slovakia were singing and dancing on the territory of the Transcarpathian Museum of Architecture and Rural Life.
