Also, persons coming from Ukraine can use only one border checkpoint – "Uzhgorod-Vysne Nemecke". It will be open from 07:00 to 19:00 Central European Time (08:00 to 20:00 Kyiv time).
In addition to the antigen test, internal quarantine with PCR testing within 5 days remains mandatory. For those, who temporarily or permanently reside in Slovakia, registration on the website korona.gov.sk is also mandatory, the regional health authorities will receive information automatically.
Freight traffic, on the other hand, remains unrestricted.
The border crossing "Velke Selmence – Mali Selmentsi" is temporarily closed.
Also, pedestrian traffic at the checkpoint "Ublya" is temporarily suspended. Vehicles weighing up to 7.5 tons can cross this checkpoint only for the purpose of transit through the territory of the Slovak Republic.
