Since the beginning of the year, almost 7.5 million citizens have crossed the customs border in Transcarpathia

During 10 months of 2015, 7,466,768 citizens, 338,7215 vehicles and 22,584 thousand tons of cargo have crossed the border through the customs checkpoints of the Transcarpathian customs office. Compared with the corresponding period of 2014, the total number of citizens that have crossed the customs border of Ukraine has increased by 677 thousand, vehicles – by 163.3 thousand, goods – by 2.364 thousand tons.

It should be noted that the busiest months in terms of the number of citizens crossing the customs border of Ukraine were May, July and August. The most active border crossing by vehicles was registered by officers of the Transcarpathian customs in July, August and October.

The office regularly carries out activities aimed at ensuring comfortable and quick border crossing, minimizing the time for customs formalities to be carried out. In particular, they have set time limits for customs officers to perform control of passenger cars, buses, trucks and air transport. The average time of customs clearance of goods under customs declarations in export, import and transit regimes in October amounted to 81 minutes.
