The film was shot on locations referred to in historical chronicles and stories – Uzhgorod, Lviv, Khust, Beregovo, Kolochava, Velyky Bychkiv, Yasinya, the Carpathian passes.
An ynusual format film is a new experience for the Ukrainian documentary film making which was called by the authors "epic documentary film."
"The thorough study of the history of that period Transcarpathia made by the "Invert Pictures" film studio is a product worthy of not only Ukrainian TV", – the general director of the media holding ZIK Igor Turkevych said.
Traditionally, after the showing of the film, on the TV channel there will be an expert discussion of the film and historical realities depicted in it with guests of the show "Historical truth with Vakhtang Kipiani".
