Shufrych was sentenced to one year of probation

Nestor Shufrych Jr., who had hit a man in Kyiv, was sentenced to a year of probation.

This was written by victim Oleksiy Melnychenko’s lawyer Vyacheslav Lysenko on his Facebook page.

He said that the last meeting in the trial of Shufrych Jr had taken place on Thursday.

"Verdict of the court: to recognize Shufrych guilty of committing an offense, to impose a sentence in the form of imprisonment for a term of three years and to release from serving the main punishment with a probation of one year," – he wrote.

"The parties enter into a settlement, under which Oleksiy was compensated for moral and material damage in the amount of one million hryvnia. Incidentally, today Oleksiy signed a contract for the purchase of a house in Kherson, where he comes from" – the lawyer said. 

As you know, on August 26 Nestor Shufrych Jr. hit a man while driving a Bentley of his friend rap artist Pabl.A, the accident occurred in Kyiv on Shota Rustaveli Street. The man suffered serious injuries.
The prosecutor’s office charged the son of the people’s deputy with violation of the rules of the road, which caused serious bodily injuries.

On August 30, the Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv imposed on Nestor Shufrych Jr. a pre-trial restraint in the form of bail.
