Shooting in Transcarpathia

Police officers are establishing the circumstances of the hooliganism act in Tyachiv district
Investigators of the Dubove Police Department opened criminal proceedings over the act of hooliganism committed by a group of persons in the village of Novoselytsya. All the persons involved in the crime – residents of Tyachiv district – have been identified and taken to the police station
Today, on December 22, at 01:03 am, the police received an anonymous report of hooliganism in the village of Novoselytsya. 
The investigation team found out that at around 1 am, several people, namely a 24-year-old resident of the village of Teresva and four residents of the village of Bedevlya aged 19 to 26 years old, had caused a conflict with the patrons of the establishment. .
The quarrel escalated into a brawl that resulted in a 25-year-old resident of the village of Bereznyky, as well as three residents of the village of Novoselytsya aged 45 and 47 years old sustaining injuries.
It was also found out that one of the clients of the establishment had made a shot with a gun with rubber bullets. He was identified. The man was taken to the police station. The gun was confiscated, the origin of the weapon is being established.
Police officers also seized the offenders’ car.
The parties to the conflict were taken to the police station to determine all the circumstances of the case. Their actions appear to constitute a criminal offense under Article 296 (2) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (disorderly conduct committed by a group of persons) punishable by restraint of liberty for a term up to five years or imprisonment for a term up to four years.
The investigation in the case continues.
