According to the Acting Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, Colonel Serhiy Sharanych, he ordered to conduct official inspection of the events in connection with the celebration of the Victory Day in Uzhgorod.
Recall that one of the web sites reported that the head of the traffic police in Uzhgorod Oleksiy Spivak had pinned on his uniform a "St. George" ribbon, while laying flowers to the monument of the war victims.
According to the regional site of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Office, this incident is being under an internal investigation carried out by officers of internal security and personnel inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Office.
The results of the inspection will be announced to the public later.
