Servicemen of the 15th separate mountain infantry battalion were honored in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

The solemn event with awarding of the soldiers of the battalion and the concert was held in the club of the military unity in Uzhgorod.

Representatives of the city government, city school students, ordinary citizens came to thank soldiers of the battalion who were performing military tasks in the area of the ATO in Luhansk and Donetsk regions – the Zakarpattya online informed.

The celebrations started traditionally with the performance of the national anthem of Ukraine, then they observed a minute of silence to honor those who have not come back alive from battles for independence and sovereignty of the Ukrainian state.

After that, soldiers of the battalion were awarded with diplomas and watches. In addition, letters of thanks were awarded to the city residents who were helping the battalion, and representatives of culture and arts, who helped in the preparation of this event.
