Today, April 4, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov dismissed Serhiy Maksimov and appointed Serhiy Knyazev as the chief of Rivne region police.
Currently, the regional police department is headed by Serhiy Knyazev’s deputy Colonel Stepan Dovhun.
Today, Serhiy Knyazev officially said goodbye to the staff of the regional police department. He said that as a military man he is accustomed to obey orders of the management, so he accepts the decision of the Ministry.
He wished his now former colleagues to succesfully pass re-certification and prove that the Transcarpathian police staff are highly professional.
