Sergeant of the 128th brigade Oleksandr Oliynyk was released from the captivity of terrorists

The sergeant’s return was reported in the group "Transcarpathian Legion" on Facebook.

– Yesterday, everybody in Ukraine was watching the exchange of prisoners. This could be called the "New Year’s miracle," but in reality it was a result of a very hard work. One of the 73 people, who returned home yesterday, is our fellow soldier Sergeant Oleksander Oliynyk, who spent almost three years in captivity. Unfortunately, because of the specifics of the exchange procedure, the officers of our Brigade were not able to see and talk with him yesterday, but we want him to know that we have been waiting for him and are infinitely happy that he will be able to celebrate the New Year’s Eve at home with his loved ones. On behalf of the whole brigade, we thank everyone who helped and organized this exchange.

Recall that the Ukrainian side received 74 hostages, who were captured in the occupied territory. Kyiv gave the separatists 233 people.
