" He appointed his first deputy Andriy Serbaylo as the chairman of the council. The head of the information activity and public relations department Volodymyr Dupelych is the deputy chairman of the expert council, and Olena Haryachko, an employee of that department is the secretary of the council. Also, the council includes Yuriy Bidzilya, the head of the Journalism Department of the Faculty of Philology of UzhNU, Victor Braslavets, the director of the "Karpaty" publishing house, Yuriy Hleba, the Director of Culture Department, Lyudmyla Hryhash, the scientific secretary of the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library named after MF Potushnyak, Vasyl Husti, the head of the Regional Organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, Mykhailo Kichkovsky, the chairman of the Standing Committee of the Regional Council on cross-border cooperation, Dmytro Fedaka, literary critic, Oleksandra Ignatovych, literary critic, Sandor Horvath, poet, novelist and Vasyl Brenzovych, the first deputy chairman of the regional council.
The first meeting of the new members of the expert council will be held on May 22, at 11 o’clock, at the RSA.
This year, they plan to spend half a million hryvnias for publication of books at the expense of the regional budget. This sum is provided under the regional program for support of local authors publishing.
