Selling ​​cigarettes and tobacco to children is not economically advantageous

Ukrainian tax service within 9 months of this year revoked more than 970 licenses for violating the ban on selling alcohol and cigarettes to minors. This was informed by Ukrinform with reference to the press service of the State Tax Service.

As the tax service assured, the number of such penalties, compared to the same period last year, almost doubled: during 9 months of 2011 437 licenses were revoked.

In addition, more than 21.4 thousand licenses for retail and 78 licenses for wholesale of alcohol and tobacco have been canceled for non-payment.
